Modern diesel engines run hotter and at higher pressures than ever. Small components – a piston cooling nozzle, an oil gallery plug, a thermostat housing – decide whether the engine meets its life and emission targets.
Piston cooling nozzles and oil jets
A piston cooling nozzle sprays oil at the underside of the piston. If the tube angle or outlet position is even slightly off, the jet misses its target and the piston runs hot. That is why nozzle orientation, outlet position and mounting features must be held exactly to drawing and checked stage by stage.
Housings, covers and manifolds
Machined castings such as thermostat covers, engine housings and intake manifolds need flat sealing faces, accurate bore positions and clean threads, so gaskets seal and assemblies bolt up without rework.
How we control quality
- In-process inspection at critical operations
- ZEISS CMM dimensional reports for samples and periodic checks
- Surface finish, profile and hardness verification
- Gauges for every thread and critical diameter
